This has worn off since I wrote the review. Terrible replay value.

What, is everyone ashamed to listen to unblack metal? I'm sure as hell not. This has some pretty good riffs. Old Times Cruelty ftw.

There's nothing wrong w/ unblack, it just mostly sucks musically. This album has its moments.

This is fantastic, and Crimson Moonlight is great too.

Proof that Christian metal doesn't have to suck.

Incredible black metal, completely disregarding their religious affiliation. But really...love this album to death.

I always dug this album. Super atmospheric and dark, yet, still pretty melodic. Still pop this in every once in a while.

Yeah cuz Christians are all happy go lucky and rainbows all the time? This is a fantastic album regardless of belief. Vale of tears...sic.

This is great!
I'm trying to formulate an opinion of their religion. I got as far as Jesus and Satan are playing in the same league, only blacks are more prolific.
So now I just listen to the sweet music.

The term "unblack metal" kinda makes me cringe.

Indeed, it seems a desperate categorization. It's not like the lyrics are in your face preachy. It's mostly a memento mori, like 90% of all BM albums.

I love the "Christianity is to Wussy to work as a theme in black metal" arguement given Christianity's extraordinarily bloody history. Not to mention all the nordfags black metal adores gave up odin and thor worship in a relatively very short time.
Also this record rules.
