I have The Jester race. The guitar harmonies in it are darn great but it lacks bass soooooo bad. But I like it anyway so it's all good. I like this a bit better though

naah, this is nice. That is the problem with you old In Flames fans, you just expect them to make another The Jester Race or Clayman, but that is just not going to happen. This album is the band showing a different, more aggressive side of them. Sure it has not got all these great guitar harmonies and deep growls, but it is very great in another perspective. I for one greet a change in a band. If you make 9 studio albums, then they definitely can't be all alike. In Flames relised that they could do something different and they did it and I respect that and I totally love albums like this and ASOP

hmm, maybe I should review this and spread my point anout this album. This has a decent 3 and a decent 3.5 rating, but the only review that gave it a 4 sucked so I think that I actually might do this one sometime in the next week.

This one and soundtrack to your escape are my two favorite in flames albums, I love the overdubbing in the vocals especially in the title track were the overdubbing comes in the chorus. and metaphor is an amazing song too to me and a bit out of character in a nice way. And to me Anders have a fantastic voice, one of the best to me... so to me this is a fantastic album!
