My only issue with this album is some of the bombastic/cheese-infested lyrics in songs like Connect The Dots and Web of Lies. Not all the songs are like this though (Beneath The Waves, Age of Shadows), and it's an excellent display of Arjen's songwriting - better than The Human Equation.

My brother keeps telling me that this amazing, especially the vocalists on this. I think that I just need to listen to few more times to truly appreciate this.

its does get boring after awhile, the album is just too big. but yea the vocals are amazing and some of the riffs too.

The sixth extinction is perhaps one fo the best prog metal tracks ever, intense, bombastic and diverse. Saldy the album is not as spectacular as the human equation or Into the electric castle
