No I'm just surprised imitation metal can get any worse than this

Personally I didn't dislike this album. I heard this album having never truly experience a Metallica album and so never really noticed how much Triv copied their style. Having since broken my Metallica virginity, I can see why so many people disliked this album. I still found it an enjoyable album, though. I disregarded the Metallica likenesses and listened to it as an album in itself.

Nowhere near as good as Ascendancy, but not a complete disaster. Another album like this would have crushed Trivium. Luckily they got it just right with "Shogun".

Great review too. Pretty much said what I had wanted to say.

Trivium suck stop listening to them

In your opinion they suck. My opinion is that, despite opinions, if its good music and I enjoy it then I'll listen to it. Why do they suck? Rather than saying they suck why don't you justify why they suck? I justified why I like them. So tell me, my dear, why they suck!

You can't say any band sucks without a reason as to why. And I won't stop listening to them just because some guy on the internet tells me to. They're not the best but I enjoy their sound. The end.

they suck because they contribute absolutely nothing to music, let alone rip off other bands vocally and musically, simultaneously taking credit for doing things in the mainstream that have been going on for years, therefore they not only contribute nothing but also repress the scene by being so fucking bad

They contribute to music with their music. You might not like it, others might not like it, but people buy the albums which means they like it.

I can see the dislike and part of me wants to agree and really hate them too, especially having recently realised how much they copied Trivium. I guess if I had heard Metallica first then I would also dislike Trivium.

Also, don't ask how come I hadn't hear Metallica before. It's something I cant explain myself. But anyway...you're entitled to your opinion and I would hope I'm entitled to mine. Thank you.
