I've had it for a month and a half and I dont feel comfortable saying that yet. It'll ultimately be really high end of year, but yeah. This leaked on the 21st or 22nd.

It's only the third week in January and already The Mars Volta, Able Baker Fox, and Maybe Nada Surf and Paint it Black are better. This will be on my list somewhere, but it's not going to be a contender for best of the year unless everything else just sucks an unfathomable amount. It's awesome yeah, but it doesn't mean its already a contender for album of the year in January.
And as much as I don't really like subtledagger and pixies, they have a pretty good example of what happens on sputnik far too often.

Kezia is a little overrated on this site, so I'm not expecting too much from Fortress. Will still give it a shot though.

This sums up exactly what I think.
The more I listen to it the more it all seems kind of repetitive to me.
Slight variations on similar ideas if that makes sense.
Guitar wise I see your point but what you just said can be said about 90% of the genre.
For me this has yet to lose its glam at all but only time will tell if she stays strong.
