Little Umbrellas is genius to me, adding and subtracting instruments or harmonies every time they repeat the sections. especially when the flute/woodwind comes in near the end. no idea how people even compose stuff like that.

Zappa was known to push things until the compositions weren't even playable by any human. This guy was pretty much a genius in music, he wrote all that shit down to the note.
|
| |
yeah he was very inspired by classical
and you can hear that in structure of Peaches
always progressing

It is pretty unbelievable that this album was released in '69. It sounds much ahead of its time.

willie the pimp annoys me
he has a ton of instruments and yet frank solos for like 8 minutes himself

Dude play Willie the pimp really loud over some speakers while chillin outside. My buddy played it on his sweet Bose system and I heard it like I never have before. I wanna stick my cock in this album.
And where's the love for Mr. Green Jeans?

Frank Zappa was allowed to. ha While he is recongnised for being a great guitarist, I think he's a little underrated overall.
