I don't like the chorus either. I didn't know what you meant by juvinile.

It's do damn repetetive. I don't like the high pitch when he says what!.

Well, it is a chorus. This album doesn't deserve a 2.5 though. Its incredible.

Especially for being his first album.

I mean it's repetative as in he just says the same thing over and over. Rap is repetative enough in general. My rating is my rating is my opinion and I'm entitled to it.

one of my only rap rating...I hope it doesn't effect my pie chart... nah this LP is actually entertaining, it just gets boring and annoying after a few listens. This Message Edited On 09.28.06

I don't care for this album much. The content is whack and the I dislike the production. However, I can't deny Eminem's skills as a lyricist.

this is easily em's best work.

A no holds barred, vulgar masterpiece and an absolute classic.

This album is funny and a classic. I like 97' bonnie and clyde better than the old version. Plus i dont hear the difference between the old and the new just dont give a fuck. The only songs that aren't up to speed with the rest are "my name is" and "Brain Damage" after a few listens there are kinda average.

Wait, wait, all this mention of rock bands as an influence is confusing. Citation needed, please. Plus that whole "same state as Hendrix and Nirvana". Washington? I think you're wrong. Wasn't it Michigan?

and the Cobain reference in track 13 is kinda sarcastic/sneery.

The Marshall Mathers LP was better, but still a very strong release.
