I am madly in anger with you.

Just kidding, I thought it felt more like a Thom Yorke solo as well, and thus bored me to tears.

Review is good, not bad...I honestly thought the other members left and Radiohead had actually become a Thom Yorke solo project (mainly because every publication that wrote about it featured mostly pictures of Yorke by himself without the band for some reason). Never really thought Radiohead was an amazing band (though Karma Police and Paranoid Android are amazing songs) but this album really was kind of disappointing...

I edited this up a while ago on Microsoft Word and never posted it, and now I can't access it. I'll post the edit when I figure it all out

One thing that disapoints me in this album is the production.

15 steps has cool beats and arrangement, but nothing compared to the electronic arrangementes they already did in the past, it lacks texture and sounds a bit umbalanced... am I the only one that got this impression?

Bodysnatchers could be an awesome track if the guitars werent so low-fied distorted, the arrangement is really cool, but again the production...

Nude is awesome as it is, but the "uuuhhhs" are too much, somehow they sound too big in the conclusion.

All I need and Faust Arp are well done, not the highlights of the album but acceptable. Weird Fishes and House of Cards and Videotape are the tracks that are perfectly produced IMMO.

I'm not shure if you guys agree with me, but In Raimbows could be really close to an exellent (4.5) but the production throws it into the 3.2 to 4.0 rate.

Rolling Stone said Reckoner was the In Rainbows equivalent to Myxomatosis, which conivnced me further that Rolling Stone are complete tools when it comes to their reviews.

lol those songs are pretty much opposite.

nice review. i agree totally with your apprasial of 'videotape' especially. The live version is 100x times better. apart from that, 'jigsaw' is my favorite song on the album....and i have no idea why 15 step doesnt get a mention, the chord sequence is just beautiful.
