But... Hitler wasn't a musician. If he was, that point would be appropriate.

Ya I wasn't even going to say anything cause that was just dumb.

Aw, he's a smart dude. He;s just a little confused at times. Aren't you John Paul?

I would purchase Hitler's Greatest Hits. The man was basically a musical genius. Just listen to the arrangements.

Ah, well, clearly my point was lost on the lot of you.
My example was designed to prove that for many artists- especially over-exposed artists like Michael Jackson, it is nearly impossible to separate their music from their actions. When you think of Michael Jackson, I'm certain you'd think of the word "scandal" just as much as you'd think of "Beat It".
Perhaps it would have been better to use Manson as an example. Surely you can like his music, but you're never going to forget that the man who made the music saw himself as Christ and tried to ignite the nation-wide race war.
Or…, I could be totally wrong. It’s happened before.

No, I'd say you pretty much got it.

The critical and defining album of his career. I love Thriller, and even if Off the Wall, Bad, and Dangerous are amazing works, Thriller is impeccable.

"Thriller" was pretty much the high point of Michael Jackson's career. This was released back in 1982, when MJ was a talented black man, not a scary white man.
