I am mildly amused that you dislike this but recommend a band (recognising you intended to suggest one similar to MDB) who've actually named themselves after an MDB song (off a considerably less interesting album than this one as well). In other words, it comes across a bit strange that you'd dislike such a seminal doom band but be quite inclined towards groups who likely owe a great debt to MDB. actually I don't like the band I recommended, but other people might since I found it similar to this, maybe me being nice and helpful didnt cross your mind?

Whoever dissed Venom, i'm not pointing any fingers(Altmer) Venom kick asss and that cheap shot was unnecessary and hurtful. This got a lot of buzz since yesterday, i'll see to lastfm to have this hopefully.

"Black Metal" is pretty much an essential album for those into heavy metal so get it and don't be left out. It's some real satan saluting, horns protruding from skull kinda stuff. It's raw, and heavy, the way I like it.

This album is their high point. A Line of Deathless Kings was enjoyable too, imo, but I don't think any album has or will be as good as this one.
