I was never really aware of the hype for INXS, so when I put this on for the first time it really blew me away with how good it was, I went in expecting generic 80's pop but this is really a lot more interesting than that.

Yes this was massive back in the day.

Hutchence, Paula and Geldof was a toxic mix but what first triggered his downfall was the taxi driver who punched Michael. Lost his sense of taste and never sought proper treatment for his brain injury. Spiralled into drugs, depression and Paula.

I will always take listen like thieves over this honestly.

Same with DM's music for the masses over violator.

Yep, l watched the Hutchence documentary the other week and getting hit in Copenhagen was devastating to him as he lost his sense of smell as well. Completely changed his personality too as he became more violent. One of the great shames of Australian music that he isn't around today
