these guys are ok for me, i would say they are a mix of nu metal and thrash, which is cool, i definately wouldnt call them metalcore, or screamo, i think the singer is incredibly talented vocally, and he definately was the standout in motograter, but his lyrics at times, bug me, and sometimes his vocal melodies sound too similar in some songs, but he's not nearly as bad an offender as some

If this is true metal, then I dont like true metal. The vocs are decent but the singing is terrible. The drums are horrendous and Im sure I heard my 2 year old cousin play the same beats on my pots and pans. I layed listening to the album and couldnt tell if the song had changed or not. This album is okay but really nothing all that special. I really never could get my head round my friend liked it so much as he did; proclaiming it to be one of the best metal albums of the past few years.

I don't understand why this band has sooo much hatred towards them...

For the type of metal they play, they do it perfect.

They have killer riffs in every song. Their vox might not be the best anyone has ever heard, but they are great for the songs they play. Their drums are nicely done also. Their songs pump you the fu.. up and make you either wanna head bang or smash someone's skull in.

Guitar solos are nicely done.



It's okay to not prefer these guys when picking out something to listen to, but to hate them?...

It is very dumbed down music, with stupid ass lyrics. That is why people can hate them. I find them to be a guilty pleasure of sorts, but I can not listen to them often. They are 100% not five worthy, though.

I personally enjoy every song in the album.

I like the lyrics, theyre meant to be what they are.

Most of the songs are meant to be in your face and angry.

"1... 2... f.ck you" "Step to me mother f.cker" etc.



It's different if only a song or two had these odd lyrics, but if they all have similar lyrical content, then it works.



I dont think every bad can pull off these lyrics, but they sure can.

Dumb, dumb, awful metal-by-numbers music. Look at the fucking name! Listen to their songs! It's just not good. People complain about Atreyu being bad...this is maybe even worse!
