At one point I would have given this a 5, but time has worn the appeal off a bit. I do feel that Owens did a fantastic job delivering the vocals (better than anything else I've heard with him), and the concept was interesting once you figured it out.



I'm torn between how much I loved this in my youth, and the current realization that it's kind of meh.

On an Iced Earth Marathon, currently doing the trilogy of concept albums. I really don’t get the hate here. It might be a bit long, but it riffs and the vocals are fucking great. A lot of good hooks

tim owens does sound amazing on here, however I do think it's really bloated, if they left out most of the interludes it'd have a higher rating I bet. Some of the riffs on here are epic like on the title track and Something wicked pt 1.
