Wow, I can't believe the guys who are saying this album sounds like Alls Well That Ends Well

I'm a fan of both there albums and there first The Heartless Control Everything, and none of them sound anything alike. For the guy who said the piano uses a few different chords, he uses a whole different playing style they practically ditched the circus type theme and went for a more theatrical feel. I still prefer Alls Well That Ends Well over this album but overall a very solid cd.

And to everyone who "Can't stand" Craigs voice compared to alot of the crappy vocalists out there hes amazing and has one of the best ranges and best control over his voice out there.

And a good review, though I disagree and think Lexington is the best song on this album.This Message Edited On 09.09.07

Ughh. I wish this band would go away, and I wish all the damn fanboys who think its so "fresh and original and unlike anything ive evrr heard lykeee omggg" would go away too.

Im not a "damn fanboy" but I think a lot of what this band does is pretty fresh. I'll be sure to pick this up. I met some guy on a college trip that opened for this band in Detroit.

Not really. A lot of bands try to mix up catchy, intricate guitars and keyboards with the whole screamo thing and whatnot, its definitely nothing new or revolutionary. I just think they do a decent job, nothing great, but worth a listen.

Theese guys do amazing so dont go starting with the fan boy crap and how they're not original. Chiodos is one of the best bands out there nowadays compared to all the other p!atd and fall out boy and alot of the other crap floating around

I love how everyone's defense of this band is "they're doing something new!" Yeah, that doesn't really count for anything when the sound they're doing is terrible. I could start a band in which we defecate on our guitars for 10 minutes and that would be something new, but it would suck.

I love how in the defense of one band, people always resort to trying to make other bands look even worse, as if that makes the band they are defending look like teh sex0r.

If I was concerned about how crap Fall Out Boy or Panic! At The Disco, I'd go criticize them in their album reviews, rather then talk about them in a Chiodos review, where the main point is to discuss Chiodos, not Panic at the motherfuckin' disco.

With that said, I find his voice tolerable in 'I didn't say I was powerful, I said I was a wizard' (correct song title? I forget.).

This band is awesome. But this album isn't as amazing as I thought it would be. Almost every song feels like it's been pulled from a different album, like it's a Greatest Hits compilation or something. But it's still good. I was sorta let down at first, but it grew on me. Their guitarists are really talented, but their kinda turned down on this album. It blows.

And Craig is a great singer. I've seen them live and he rarely fucks up.

I'm on their top friends on MySpace. I like this band a lot. But All's Well That Ends Well is better.

This band is alright. I really like Teeth The Size Of Piano Keys, but everything else on this album is pretty much average.



And why the Chiodos bashing? I like his voice.
