Their previous albums were most certainly metalcore. I prefer Bloodlust; this album is obviously an attempt to gain validation amongst thier peers and elitests rather than appeal to thier existing fanbase.

I love this album. It takes more than one listen to like. you have to be able to hear it in they way they want you. i think its a great album.

Only thing that still owns is the drums, but I don't listen to shitty guitars, bass, and vocals just to hear a fast double bass roll.
