I had to bump up the rating for this because it actually is a pretty good album. I think its pretty badass that Avalanche is all about FF7 and the lead guitar tone is very nice. Too bad about them breaking up though, they were doing something different from everyone else.

This album has maybe two decent-ish metalcore tracks, 2 & 11. Both the singles were closer to synth pop,tho i think Stay Captive was ok, Dance tonight is really camp and corny, as is alot of the album, they almost sound like Europe at times!! :0
Huge Dissapointment, but i never really thought Of Love and Lunnacy had anymore than a few good tracks either.
Many bands show potential and get better, its a shame when you find out that their 'potential' is actually all they ever had.

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail (since I wrote a whole damn review on it already), but I think this album delivered on the potential of their previous album. That one was just another generic metalcore album and on this one they stepped away from that and incorporated more elements into their songs; elements they probably knew would piss off metalcore kids. This Message Edited On 07.31.08

If this had been their debut album no one would have called this a metalcore album. They would have noticed that some of the songs had elements of metalcore, but that's probably it.

but this album is just bland as **** It seems to me that most the people that think that way are people that were hoping for another metalcore album.

Vocalist sounds like Randy Marsh in "The River Song." Sounds like a South Park montage.
