bron-- i agree there, it was a pretty bad typo, probably the worst-timed one possible when you're discussing historical facts about a band. lol.

Hey! If nothing else, all the deletions of your reviews is helping your rating go back up, since they seem to be leaving the ones that were at least ok.
|
| |
hey! thats true! sputnik can suck my balls!
|
| |
just because you suck doesn't mean you need to get pissy.
|
| |
and as for the person who said the riff was a "horn,"... uh.... no.
The intro riff to Satisfaction? Im pretty sure that is a horn...
|
| |
Awww fuck did the Tool review get deleted?

Thank god hes gone.
|

is he gone forever? i know what Spat said but is there absolutely no chance he might 'join' Sputnik? at least he can be the observer (may be observing now ;P).This Message Edited On 07.26.07

Even though he's gone now, I'd like to say that Keith Richards himself stated in a Guitar World interview, "that riff in Satisfaction was a horn. Everyone gets it confused".
|
| |
Dude, you shoudl have stayed as the gimmick, lol only kidding. I'm not huge on the stones, but thsi review was quite well written, and you still cause controversy.

"Okay, yes, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are ugly. I would prefer if
we could all avoid comments about that in the comment section"
......Is the worst attention grabber I have ever heard. Nice.

Too many paragraphs. I think your review needs to be a bit more straightforward.

quite unconvincing album; 5 truly succesful tracks (like play with fire or cry to me... and i dont mention you-know-which songs) would've given great result had it not been for so many dull fillers; still, with all these classics it'd be hard not to consider it good

Play With Fire is so bloody brilliant. Every time you think you've heard every classic song the Stones have done, you hear one you never really paid attention to and it blows your mind all over again. Such a timeless band.

Need to jam this band more.
|
| |
These guys have produced some of my all-time favorite songs,
I'm honestly surprised I haven't listened to a full album from them
|
| |
Their late 60's-early 70's material is prob the best they've done.
However, I myself need to jam it properly, plus I haven't heard Sticky Fingers yet.
