Pig Destroyer are grindcore.
End of discussion. IMO, grindcore is a very different genre to grind.
Just on this album, they incorporated a lot more groove (there was also a lot of groove on Terrifyer to be fair) than they were using before.
There's influences from thrash too. But I hate it when people hear something fast and immediately label it as thrash or even more stupidly, "thrashcore".
And to Monticello - your branch of HMV is obviously much better than mine  .
