Excellent. Not as memorable as Anomalies but still a winner in my book.

First few listens to this album like a year ago had me thinking "yeah, it's aight."

Revisted it recently and decided it's fucking incredible.
Last half of the album is a total sludged out, emotional powerhouse.

For some reason I'm just now getting this. First track is pretty standard, but still good.

I like everything up to Anomalies a lot. I haven't really listened to this album at all.

Anomalies is great, as is Lucid Interval. This one is much more deathy and less grindy, and so far it seems like there's a lot less experimentations with other genres like we're used to from Cephalic Carnage (think Piecemaker off Anomalies).

An excellent album...great follow-up of their last album, Anomalies.

An average album, and more disinteresting to me than previous CC releases, but it does have its moments. Those moments are on the shorter, snappier songs, where Hydro-Grind comes into play and sometimes even works flawlessly. However, the fact that the majority of 'Xenosapien' sounds as lackluster as possible proves this album to be one of CC's worst releases in recent times. The 7-minute closing track 'Graul' literally bores me to tears.

Anomalies is better for sure, though this isn't bad unto itself. I can't agree with you enough: BTBAM if they became a grind outfit.

I have this rated real high due to the fact that it dropped when I was blown away by anything extreme but this still holds up pretty damn well. Endless Cycle of Violence is so damn nostalgic for me these days too. Agreed on a comeback album needing to happen. I think two of the members had a project called Reign of Vengeance (it was Reign of something for sure). I interviewed them and reviewed that album and recall it being solid. Glad I got to see them live at least a few years back
