I like the music but the lyrics are so overtly Christian to the point of annoyance. This isn't a well metaphored tale, it's really just shoving Christianity in your face, which isn't a new development at all...This Message Edited On 08.11.07

From what I've heard it isn't as good. It's much more metalcore than this.

Yep, the fun wore out in only a couple listens for me. I have a feeling if I listen again my rating will go down.

I can see where your coming from with the christian lyrics. But I am a christian, so obviously I like it.

I've had this cd for a lil while, but for some reason i never listened to it all the way through...

well, i'm on the 7th track and it's probably either going as a 4 or 4.5 depending on how well this album finishes. my only complaint so far is the breakdown at the end of Autopsy (the whole 'Set me on fire') just seemed very boring and dull and kind of ruined the song for me. everything else has been brutal as hell. This Message Edited On 09.10.07

Yeah, i guess due to a few parts lacking in the album it deserves a 4 seeing as it is a strong album, and a great follow up to Terminate Damnation. This Message Edited On 09.11.07

their debut transcends brutality...duckett is the only redeeming factor to this band...the singers a good dude. not much you can do now though...they truely had the perfect metalcore blend...better than 95% of all other bands ever.
that 5% is Of Malice and the Magnum Heart by the by

Kinda funny, and ironic, that this band is Christian. I am as well and I love these guys; I'm buying this album reallly soon.

I don't see the irony, nor what's funny.

Wow, this cd kicks ass I'm glad I got it, for free on BMG no less. I almost didn't get it because they were on solid state records, and I pretty much hate every band on that label. Unfortuanately (I didn't spell that right at all.) I got an august burns red cd too.

That's not ironic. It's just coincidental.
