I like it, especially with Black Metal, it makes the sound more raw. I just bought Hlidskjalf on vinyl and its very strange.... nothing like this.

I love Hlidskjalf

Vinyl is cool, especially since Buying 2 Burzum Vinyls at this store cost the same as one Burzum Cd :eek:This Message Edited On 08.03.07

Ya Hlidskjalf actually was pretty good, certainly music to fall asleep to. I love the ambiance, just a shame there are no vocals.

This vinyl cost me $17, and the Hlidskjalf vinyl cost me $20.This Message Edited On 08.03.07

You are so lucky. The stores where I live carry no Burzum material on CD, and only 3 of his albums on vinyl (this one, Hlidskjalf, and Daudi Baldrs)..... I bought Hvis on CD off amazon for $28. This Message Edited On 08.03.07

I feel so cheap now lol! My two cds were sent to me by sputnik users. This one is really awesome. Better than Hvis methinks.

His voice is bad but it's not really ruining my experience. It's more like he took out a filler track but replaced the minor annoyance of filler with his voice.

Upon first listen I'm estimating a 4-4.5. I wasn't expecting to like it right away. This Message Edited On 10.23.07

His vocals are my favorite part I could see why you don't like it though, but they grew on me so much. This Message Edited On 10.23.07

For some reason it was easier for me to get into Burzum then Opeth. Excellent album, Key To The Gate is my highlight.

Burzum is amazing. Varg's vocals are also amazing. Key To The Gate is one of my favorite Burzum songs ever, the guitar solo is simply remarkable.

I gave Blackwater Park a full listen today, it's gonna be a challenge to get into, but well worth the wait. Burzum is incredible stuff. I want to get the original copy of either Det Som or Filosem but it's like 40 a piece, oh well im gettin it.

Nah Opeth is great if you ignore 99% of their fans, but I have no idea why Balls mentioned them in here.

Mr. Kite I urge you to get Hviss, mostly because since the reason you dislike this one is the vocals and that one has a bit less vocal work throughout the songs, plus the first track is easily the best Burzum song ever.
