right i'm just after readin all these comments about pantera just there and i have to say some of you guys don't have a goddam clue. pantera are the goddam best heavy metal band ever man and i mean EVER. metallica fare play to them they had about four good albums i'm not even gonna comment on the rest cause i'll be here for hours.as musicians pantera are far better i mean i don't play drums but i could do better than that gollum lookalike lars.boring. hetfield is one of the best rythems i wont denie him that.hammet is a good one for the solos but what is he after that just another backround guitarist. they never had the reality that pantera had. with pantera when you listen to them you can relate to what they were sayin.no bullshit just the truth. pantera had a purpuse and the best goddam music i've ever heard. dime was the king man noone could outplay him he had everything to the fullist he could play anything from smoke on the water to some boring steve i'm so great vai solo and he could play it better too.rex is a goddam legend too.anyone who could keep up with dime is a legend. vinnie paul the king of the toms man.he could anything behind that kit just listen to the art of shreddin or becoming his time keepin is above them all.and finally phil, for those who say he has borin lyrics get a life and just go listen to ur madien or preist cds. this man tells it how it is, hes not afraid to piss anyone off he speaks the truth and if someone trys to tell me they can't relate to his words well then i think you need to get a life... so i had my little rant now my heads clear, some may agree with some may not but i speak the truth and thats all i got to say about that.

Ok I was reading the comments and see this big debate goin over their sound. I mean they have the best groove out of all the metal bands and yes metallica were good but they changed however and Pantera didnt. i got into Pantera mainly through cowboys from hell and their home video's. And it is obvious in watching through there three video's that success never got to them. They walked the talk thru and thru and in turn created the best albums the metal world has seen. And musician wise you couldnt find many above Dime's standards (he wasn't allowed to enter guitar competitions in Texas because he'd won them all by the time he was 16), the pounding double kicks of Vinnie are above the majority of other drummers skills. And the catchy bass lines of rex are testament to his skills. Sure Phil didnt sing but that wasn't what he was about. His vocals follow the exact philosopies of the band Harsh and in your fast, "you twisted little ****". I rate the album 5/5

I know this review was done a bit ago but... regular people and by demons are the two best tracks on this album IMO. The reviewer said the only good songs were at the start, sux to that.
