Fripp, would you even include Holland and Carl and the Passions as essential?

Those two aren't exactly bad though both aren't exactly astounding. It's a problem when the best song on your album is something you had to beg one of the members (Dennis) for a song meant for their solo album (the album in question wasn't released, but seriously went by the title "Poops")

Even then, 20/20 and 15 Big Ones are weaker than those two. I just include all four of those in the mix because the best songs on those albums are incredible.

I really wanted to like this more than I did. It's really inconsistent. Til I Die is my favorite.

hm it took a while to grow on me. Now I only dislike Student Demonstration and think the rest is solid.

Well if we're docking for clumsy lyrics, Don't Go Near the Water is so cheesy. "Let's start today" lol

Yeah the opener is pretty awful, IMO. Disney Girlz and the last two tracks are phenom.

Feel Flows is actually one of the most beautiful songs like I could literally loop it forever, absolutely stunning

I've always been a fan of the sunnier Beach Boys stuff, and not so much the haunting stuff that critics usually label as "matured." I mean it's all really great but I like the ridiculous happy melodies and those are scant here.

Listening to Feel Flows is like looking into your own past through a photo album. The song is just mystical.

Is this already remastered? The version of the album I heard on Spotify didn't sound so good. The only songs that i really liked on here were Feel Flows and A Day n the Life of a Tree

I don't think I'll get over the fact that everyone sings in the band, but the MANAGER is the one singing day in the life of a tree
