My personal favorite they've ever done is Nightshade Forests, every single track is astounding, however it's still only an EP, so i'd say get either Stronghold or Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame if you're interested in more.

yeah Stronghold is fantastic, along with Nightshade Forests. I wasn't bowled over by LMHSYF though, I found it underwhelming apart from the last track Farewell which is one of their best.

I've heard both of them. Stronghold is great stuff, but Mortal Heroes bores me too. Out of the stuff I've heard Minas Morgul, Dol Guldur, and Stronghold are the ones that have kept me interested.

all summoning albums are good idk who you could like half of them and not the other half. they're not particularly different

No they're not, which is why I don't understand how I like some and not like others, but that's just how it is for me.

Okay, thanks for the recommendation. If this is one of their weaker efforts (at least according to Hawks) I think I'll like those albums/EPs

Most people consider this to be their best, it's just different for me. My favorite is Dol Guldur.
