hahaha, listend to this album all the way through again to give it a chance to justify my previous comment. The lead's vocals are so terrible it's comical. I can't understand why anyone would recommend this album much less give it a five.

You do understand that it's supposed to be a spoken word delivery? Otherwise, I really can't see how you can justify the lead vocals being comical.

perhaps I should delve further into the minutiae of my comment. His voice compares to that of nails run down a chalkboard. What I find comical is that someone would overlook his obnoxious vocals and give this album a 5.

rictor is my last name numbnuts. I just appreciate Andy Richter's previous work on Conan O'brien and felt like melded names together.

There is nothing obnoxious about Aaron's vocals really...as stated before the vocals are supposed to be spoken/shouted for the sake of the delivery. Actual singing and things of that nature would detract from everything the band was trying to accomplish with their sound...

im listening to this again for the first time in a while and honestly brother, sister is a great album but this album is just about perfect. The way it's recorded is absolutely incredible, the instruments swell together so well. The guitar interplay with the swirling delay and such is ethereal. The drums are loud and perfectly complimenting and Aaron's vocal delivery is way more emotional and honest. Every song is incredible in it's own way.

Call me outside, I'll come running down into your vacant, intoxicating night.

Call me outside to their haunted streets, their red electric lights.
