Until Your Heart Stops is great. When they were still somewhat metalcore. Juggernaut is sweet.

Yeah, cause Caleb is the bassist and did vocals in Cave In prior to Zozobra.

I have everything by these guys and nothing touches this, NOTHING!

haha, calm down, Wizard. This is their best record as for as evolving their sound and doing something different at the time. They
definitely went too far with Antenna, I didn't like that too much. And I went back to listen to Perfect Pitch Black, and I didn't like
it. So, you are pretty much right. "Big Riff" rules.

Album owns, but Juggernaut and Crossbearer just edge out Big Riff for my favorite Cave In songs. btw
Scofield never did vocals in Cave In until Perfect Pitch Black.

I thought he did vocals on Jupiter too, I swear and even Until Your Heart Stops.

He might have done vocals on Jupiter a bit, but I'm looking at the liner notes for UYHS and it only gives vocal credits to Stephen and Adam

Ok, it has been awhile since I have listened to UYHS...so, I could definitely be wrong. It has been awhile since I have listened to Cave In though too. From my statement above too, I knew Stephen Brodsky did the main vocals and all too, I meant Caleb as back up.

Yeah, weren't they supposed to be back together or something? They seem to be taking their precious time.

Yeah, they're back together. I saw them last fall with Coalesce. I dunno if they are working on anything, but earlier this year they finally issued Planets of Old on CD and it came with a badass DVD of one of their reunion shows.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about the ep. Haha, I was going to check it out and I never did. The Converge drummer played on that one though.

you should check it out. it has 2 songs that sound like Perfect Pitch Black kind of stuff but a lot more energetic and 2 songs that sound like they belong on Until Your Heart Stops.

do that. If the new ep is any indication of where they want to take the band, the future is bright indeed.

It grows on you. You can't knock Big Riff XD. You might like Perfect Pitch Black, it melds their older, aggressive sound with the spacey Jupiter-type stuff.
