Emo music sucks, theres no meaning to it or anything, its just abunch of people who hate life sreaming and playing anything that sounds good on the instraments, FFTL sucks and so do all the other Emo bands out there!!!!!!!!
LED ZEPPELIN RULES!!!!!!

| |
FFTL isn't emo.

To Sabbath-fan
Don't pre-judge if you havent heard every "emo" band that there is you can't say it has no meaning.
And if you haven't heard this CD you shouldn't give it a 1.

Very good album. Favorite song (besides Ride the Wings) would have to be hidden track though. They just seem to throw a bunch of ideas together and it comes out great. SHAKE IT LIKE A SALT SHAKER! luv it.

This is easily one of the best albums out there. I think that joey and jon both play better bass than wes borland...

really what i enjoy most out of bands like this are the lyrics. sure the guitar, bass, and drums has to be good too but i feel like without good lyrics, the song isnt much. good review. i agree with most of the stuff on there. a lot of what you wrote i never thought about before. good job!

The drumming says it all.

I think this album should be credited with a 5/5, especially sonny... i mean seriously he was what, 17 when they recorded this album (15 when he joined) his vocals are great and ride the wings of pestilence is probably the best song i've ever heard
if you don't own it, buy it.

The more I listen to this, the more it grows on me. Definitely better than most post-hardcore bands. I still like Heroine more, though.

ive only heard note to self, emily, and ride the wings of pescielence.
note to self sucks. really bad.
but my girlfriend got me into emily cuz she loves it.
and ride the wings of pescielence is amazing. except the drums, i hate them. their drummer cant do a solid drum roll. but its impressive for trying cuz thats a hard drum beat. the lyrics are realyy really of disturbing but its a good song overall.

this album is really good to bad they ruined themselves (IMO) with herion. You know Phil (I think) the previous lead singer even said he thought herion was a piece of shit. Hopefully they will understand that and stick with this formula.

Ride The Wings of Pestilence is my favorite song. It's very grusome. I don't understand why they had a rap song thing as a bounus track. Who was that guy?
