Some albums just can't escape obscurity.

Maybe the one-song concept scares people away from this one. Where's the hit!?

Or maybe the lyrics are too philosophical...

I mean, it has riffs, but it's more atmospheric than anything for me. That tremolo hook is very infectious, but overall it's a very introspective listen based more on atmosphere and songwriting than musicianship.

I have no idea what this is Dungeon, someone mentioned riffs above. That sounds promising nonetheless.

True that, very atmospheric. I would say the songwriting is very good, does not feel like an hour at all to me.

But hey, I fived it, so...

By the way: there is this part in this album, just after the lady singer and the sax have done their thing (great section!) and the solo has ended that has always confused me.

When the acoustic guitar kicks in (at 44.25) it plays the exact same notes as Portishead's ''Over''. When I first heard it I knew I'd heard it before somewhere, took me a good while to figure out where though!

Yeah man, same. This thing just keeps on giving.

I'm a big sucker for the section starting at 21.30 or so, with that very catchy and funky riff starting of softly and just completely taking over as it progresses, keyboards and all. Whoa.

... and as soon as you pick one dozens of others come to mind. A very clear 5!
