In Defense is more entertaining and fun, very varied, and there is something for everyone, this one is more cohesive and "together". Both are amazing, I recommend In Defense, but both are just as awesome.

Alive With the Glory of Love, Woe, and Admit It!!! are the best pop-punk songs I've heard in a long time. Same goes with the album.

Can someone teach this reviewer how to use a spell check, or proofread his writing at all?

That being said, this is an amazing album, great lyrics, great musicianship and great commentary throughout. I do not think that this album gets boring at any point, especially in Woe. The reviewer said that the last two minutes are tedious and repetitive. This simply is not true, as the song goes through many changes in those last two minutes. And since when was The Writhing South "annoyingly poppy"? If any song is "annoyingly poppy" it is Alive With The Glory Of Love, which the reviewer (and I) happen to enjoy a lot. When you finish the record it is like a Grecian drama has just ended, it ends with a pleasurable catharsis of pity for the writer.

I do not believe that any of the songs should be taken out, what the reviewer does not understand that although we are in the age of the MP3 there are still albums coming out that are not just a thrown together collection of potential singles. This is a perfect example of album rock, a piece of art that is intended to be taken as a whole, and not picked apart song by song. An art connoisseur does not look at a George Seurat painting dot by dot, but as a whole, and sees the beauty in it. Consequently, a music reviewer should know better then to listen to an album as a collection of songs instead of an entire piece of art.

HOLY this is awesome. SERIOUSLY. I love how Admit It is pretty much the only song ever written that it's impossible to disagree or agree with, because if you disagree he's talking about you and if you agree... he's still talking about you.

I also love EVERY SINGLE OTHER MOMENT OF THIS ALBUM.

God dammit this is perfect.
