Yep..that's it Jethro cause that song is brilliant.

This is ok but it really doesn't do much for me, it's got nothing on Gabriel/Hackett era Genesis.

Different musical eras JT.

Genesis previous era is arguably more artistic and progressive but Duke still have amazing prog structures. Don't you like Duchess, Heathaze, Duke's Travels, Duke's End or even the super catchy Turn It On Again?

I know but I just can't help but compare it to the Genesis I know and love. I do like a few of the songs from this but as a whole it doesn't come close to any of thier earlier classics (SEBtP, Foxtrot, Braodway etc.).

I'll give it another listen at some point though, who knows it might grow on me.

Yeah guitar (Hackett for that matter) is missing so much. Album represents a personal sentimental value though. Like JT just said, nothing is coming close to the Gabriel/Hackett era.

While I agree that Duke is a fantastic album, the only way I could give it a 4.5 would be to give a 6/5 to Foxtrot, SEBTP and TLLDOB. However, Duke is on paper really near from a 4.5/5, I confess.
