I do really love the bleak & melancholic melodic side to Paradise Lost and this album encapsulates that aspect of their sound perfectly.

I find the style of Goth-y lite metal that this album goes for usually pretty cringey, but man this is so good. One of my favorite Paradise Lost records.

Ever since album 3 I have been left disappointed with each subsequent release. This one is no different. Music is good, his voice is a bit better, but most of the verses and choruses just are not striking a chord with me. Maybe on a second playthrough of the discography things will click more.
