They have as much DM influence as everything else, trying to point out a trivial genre misconception does not warrant cool points.

I actually saw these guys live before I got the disc. And to top it off, Marco Pitruzzella was drumming for them that night. Needless to say, I got the disc very soon afterwards. An amazing band for sure. I hope they stick around.

great record. and the fact that marco petruzzella toured with them only adds to their awesomeness.

Very great album this is.

They strike me more in the progressive death metal range than anything else.

I don't really know to be honest. They just have a truly unique sound. They dwell from straight death metal to tech death occasionally to melodic death to having an occasional would-be "breakdown" to complete brutality. I couldn't really classify them otherwise.
