Haven't been able to stop listening to this for the past few weeks.

Awesome stuff.

Metalcore dominates the airwaves for the most part, holdings its share of standout bands(All That Remains and Unearth) as well as some of metal’s worst bands(Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold).

hahahahahahahah this is pretty much the exact same thing

Wasn't intentional

I wouldn't rip someone else's review, a strange coincidence. Then again, it is a rather general statement.

I'm just saying the wording was very similar and the same bands were used...except Bleeding Through replaced Unearth.

Is that quote from my review?

If so, arguing BTBAM Genre is pointless. Let it go.

They have as much DM influence as everything else, trying to point out a trivial genre misconception does not warrant cool points.

And don't worry, I can't really quote either

I actually saw these guys live before I got the disc. And to top it off, Marco Pitruzzella was drumming for them that night. Needless to say, I got the disc very soon afterwards. An amazing band for sure. I hope they stick around.

They strike me more in the progressive death metal range than anything else.

I don't really know to be honest. They just have a truly unique sound. They dwell from straight death metal to tech death occasionally to melodic death to having an occasional would-be "breakdown" to complete brutality. I couldn't really classify them otherwise.

Does it seriously matter what sub-genre of death they are?

It's like finding a horribly mutilated corpse and going

"I think he died of the 500 cut wounds"

"No, he definitely died when he got impaled 47 times"

"Naaah I think he died after he got shot 35 times"

"I hate you all"This Message Edited On 11.13.07

This album is so good. And I'm really starting to get into the title track a lot more.
