tbh i'm not a big fan of post-punk in general

it's like the saddest music ever, but a lot of it became really syrupy in the 80s

yeah i dig the whole vibes but it also bores me to death

i love black flag and minor threat tho but those are like obvious entry level older hardcore punk bands

yeah black flag was my first real punk band basically, then dead kennedys, minor threat, and a bunch of other stuff i can't really remember now. i used to think the 80s sucked as a whole before i really dove into punk tho tbh

Love this album, but also if, I recall correctly, drums are slightly boring for me. I think they just stay on that 2 and 4 accented punk beat for pretty much all the songs with no particularly noticeable variation.
