Just listened to the new album, and it's sure as hell better than 13 and Collider. It's like a spiritual sequel to System or UA with a great deal of fast paced songs and tons of shredding. It also has some very nice touches from Kiko (acoustic guitars and latin-american vibes in some songs). Enjoyed it.

System was really good imo, perhaps even the best in the new millenium. Endgame is awesome too.

This, Painkiller and Paranoid are the 3 albums I give to people that are new to metal or think the genre as a whole sucks.
Problem is giving them the 3 best metal albums of all time, there's nowhere to go but down

I like this record but I dunno, this style of metal doesn't do it for me like some others. Maybe I just haven't spent enough time with it.

Yeah good riffs for sure like I definitely enjoy the album it just hasn't been an insta-5 or anything for me.

I've had good experiences giving people Painkiller. I usually start with Sabbath though, then RIP, then Painkiller.
