Funny enough, I used to have this at a 3.5 a long time ago before the band finally grew on me. I think Maynard was initially the one who turned me off them in the first place, but I'm ok with him now. At the very least, his singing and lyrics don't really lower my Tool ratings anymore

Tool haters in my country unironically place Tool, System of a Down and Linkin Park in the same basket of their make-believe "high school nu-metal" genre but when you talk shit about Mastodon and The Mars Volta they turn serious and even show aggression, like "hey you, you're disrespecting the Gods of prog, that's ain't cool".
