i get how people would say it's annoying but i think it's perfect for the music. it's raspy and venomous and megadeth just wouldn't be megadeth without the shrill shrieks, i mean think about that WOAGHHHHH in the beginning of loved to deth...



considering the purpose of vocals in metal should be to help create a tense, passionate, angry, emotional soundscape.. in that sense i'd say mustaine is one of the more accomplished vocalists in the genre. terrible, sure, in the literal defition: "extremely or distressingly bad or serious," and i think that's the goal of every vocalist in metal

i think i mentioned a few weeks ago that i was getting tickets to see a show with megadeth, anthrax and children of bodom



turns out it's actually megadeth, suicidal tendencies, children of bodom and havok

It's a bummer they didn't trade Bodom for Anthrax so you could see Megadeth, Anthrax and Suicidal Tendencies
