Not allowing 1s and 1.5s is just laziness on the part of the staff moderators. They can identify troll accounts that are created just to downrate and ban them. Legitimate users should be able to rate albums whatever they want.

100% agree with this, I don't like the implication that people can't dislike an acclaimed album. It's not a huge deal, but it undermines the notion of subjectivity regardless.
