at this point in my Radiohead listening career, I say this Slays everything else, not that most of the others are not great but this is so infectious. Side 1 just slams, 2 is just somewhat more chill yes but nothing wrong with that

Faust is lovely it's just not on the same level as everything else here.

Only song here i'd consider skipping is House of Cards

The only problem of Faust and House is how much more spectacular the following track is in both cases, so when I listen to this in full, I'll always be stoked for Reckoner/Jigsaw to kick in most of all

That's why I probably also prefer the first half. Nude - Weird Fishes - All I Need is one of the strongest three song runs in history

Feel like I'm missing something here, despite really, really liking this I just can't worship it like other seem to. What's with all the people preferring this to their 'classics' these days?

It's actually good unlike 1/3 of OKC?

also, I always thought Faust Arp was a pretty essential song on this. It provides a much needed breath musically without stopping the emotional train (last line is heartbreaking. plus the name must mean something with the mention of Mephistopheles later on right?

Agreed about Faust Arp, Rowan.

Regarding OKC, both albums are very close imo, this one is slightly better. Kid A is their best though

you sure this is a 4.6 rowan? always seemed a lot more like a 4.5 to me. something holding it back from that extra .1 status.

False. This is so much better than all other Radiohead albums that I don't even know what my second favorite is.

Oye what’s all this about Faust Arp? Y’all are acting like it’s Fitter Happier or something. It’s no Reckoner or All I Need but still a beautiful short song.

I used to only like House of Cards but the gf convinced me to love it

Bodysnatchers is very different from all the other songs on here - more rhythmical, not as melodic and not as atmospheric ... I think that continues their tradition to make their albums' second tracks stand out in an extreme way in the overall picture
