I don't even like ETID and that's a fire lineup

these guys had some crazy ass bills between that and the chasing safety tour where they had fear before, the chariot, hopesfall and these arms are snakes opening

ETID was 07, I saw em in 06 before this dropped. I think it may have been an offshoot of their other tour. May have been ACB. Either way it was obscene. I have 2 major memories from that tour. One: someone had leaked DTGL and so we all had it. And UØ went to play a new song from it and they were like sing along I know you all know the words hahaha. The second memory was that at that time I was unfamiliar with PTW. And my buddy helped book the show so I also helped with just like “policing” people stage diving etc. and this dude walked up and got right at the front clearly aiming to dive when PTW came on. And me and a buddy were like should we tell him to stand down and I was like nah he may get out of the way once the set gets under way. And then he ran on stage from the crowd and grabbed the mic and went off. It was Jeffrey Moreira lmfao

Every time I come back to this album it’s mind blowing how perfect it is. Shadow has an atmosphere to it especially that they’ll never touch again.

honestly feel like the post metal stuff only got better on the two albums after this but casting is still immense
that probably would have been my dream underoath album for them to have fully dropped an album of emergency broadcasts and to whom it may concerns

I would absolutely be okay if they were still making music like the two albums after this one. What they’re doing now does nothing for me.

Post metal UØ when?
Surely after they exhaust this other phase they’ll surprise us again and go back to their roots?

The metalcore tours back then were legit insane. saw them on a run with Norma Jean and Cancer Bats, another one with Haste the Day and It Dies Today, soooo many. As I Lay Dying with Norma Jean and A Life Once Lost. Unearth with Dillinger and Zao opening is another standout.
I broke my glasses during the circle pit for "Bored Stiff" on that Underoath / ETID tour, couldn't replace them for two years $$$. Not sorry. One of the best shows I ever caught.
