Fun fact: Keith Moon/The Who were Neil Peart's biggest inspiration.
But yeah, I find them boring as hell after a bit too. Dunno what Peart saw in 'em.

He recognised that they were one of the best rock bands of all time
Who >>> Rush

Johnny stahp! You British always overestimated your relevance. If you didn't have those damn The Zeppelins the USA would easily wear the crown of rock.
I agree btw Who > Rush. Who is fun, I drink to them and dance, but Rush too nerdy, not hot.

"ye, if you know the names of radio artists they've already got you"
underrated comment
the uk spent the 90s being curbstomped by america's alt/indie output, we're allowed to keep those brownie points for not being canadian in the 70s
whether the who are still relevant now is another matter. i saw an entertaining contemporary video about them on youtube, but they are rather like the british empire in more ways than not: incontestably big on paper, but unlikely to declog the suez canal today. goodbye rock music

The only people who hate YYZ are people who have YYZ chromosomes.
I'm sympathetic though. They have problems enough as it is.

this isn't YYZ they're talking about here, folks. It's S-E-X.
