> As much as I love this album, and all their other non-eif albums, I still kinda really just want eif part II
Well EiF stomps this into dust so yeah.

The weird thing is that the density and layering on Destroyers of All is so convincing, it makes it seem like EiF is more the album with a single guitarist.
Shrines is the closest sounding to EiF to me than the others, but there's still that spice that EiF singularly has that's missing from the rest overall. Hard to pinpoint it, but it may just be the increased tempo shifts and less linear song structure. Ford summed it up best though with unbridled fury. There's just not as much devotion to it as it was on that album.

more memorable riffs on EIF, this is second in that category IMO

Good point, but I would say that not only are they more memorable, there's also more of them XD. The relentless frequency to which they come and go is like high-octane straight into the veins.
