Yeah, if there's any prog band the casual rock fan would know about, it's Rush

I can't stand Rush but the way drumming sounds on Moving Pictures reminds me of Lateralus, they have really amazing production from what I remember. I think Geddy Lee sounds like a granny rather than a high-pitched rock vocalist, it just gives me gamma male vibes.

I've heard Tom Sawyer endless times tbh, especially in various stores. Then again, I grew up going to L.A. all the time, and that city is full of throwback stores that have classic rock blasting on the overhead radio
|

yeah we have the who and zeppelin for that, none of that commercial bollocks thank you
|

I don't know the names of most artists played on department store radio

I would definitely prefer to hear Rush over The Who and Zeppelin, but it is what it is

The Who Who?
Ah, I remember now, they have that song with the stupidly annoying outro, Kaka O'Bailey. Gotcha.

I tried to review The Who's whole discog on here (mostly at KILL's request), but only got through two albums and lost my motivation because I kinda started getting bored with their music. Even their best albums never really get past being great for me... for some reason they just don't appeal to me enough to call them amazing or anything

Honestly, as far as classic rock goes, a Steely Dan discog review seems much more likely for me now. I underestimated the hell out of that band
