Not at all. You guys seem to be pop/rock oriented and In Rainbows is a collection of such songs. AMSP has got more depth, more interesting songs and flows better. If I was to make 10 song compilation out of those 2 albums, I would pick up maybe only 2 songs from IR.

Well, that's great and all, but if this has more depth in it's songwriting it also has a less cohesive atmosphere than In Rainbows and I can get lost in that album whereas this kind of bounces around as more of a collection of songs than the ethereal experience of IR that is at least infectious as this, if not more.

To each their own.

Last words of present tense are "I'm lost" and the first lyrics to Spectre are the same...strange coincidence

wouldn't call In Rainbows pop really.. but it does depend on what you dig. the songs on In Rainbows are a lot more rhythm-oriented. and honestly the sounds of the two albums are completely different. i know the album-comparing with Radiohead is endless but idk these two albums in particular are both just so accomplished. i'd argue tho that In Rainbows is def more cohesive

In Rainbows is actually less "pop" than this album is, I'd argue. It's also superior. IR feels more singular.

I think In Rainbows is more focused than this, and more emotionally resonant, but that's coming from someone who has it as a top personal favorite. This is plenty emotional and beautiful as well.

That's about right ^ I think the individual songs are written better and tighter in In Rainbows, and it is definitely more rhythm-oriented while AMSP is more texture and atmosphere. In Rainbows is also an easier listen, I would objectively say it's the better album.

But the artfulness and unpredictability of AMSP almost makes me like it more. It's something I can't put much of a finger on though.
