I don't hear much Deliverance in this though, more eclectic and prog rock than that one.

Yeah this doesn't sound at all like deliverance to me. It's most similar to GR, if anything, but with more dad prog elements. Also, doesn't sound like phoning it in. It sounds more eclectic

norm bro deliverance has some great riffs and tunes but my god its the most standard opeth ass record ever

Not happy to admit it but Sorceress is a grower. Once you get past the queef point there's quality to be found there.

I've given sorceress multiple listens and just can't get into it. I'll spin all their albums every so often except for that one and pale communion
