the serj feature is fine. I know people would’ve expected more from him as a feature, maybe some of his trademark ‘crazy’ vocal moments cuz of his pre-2005 shit, but for 2006 it makes sense. he brings this solemn yet ominous tone to the song and the album. sure vocally from both they don’t match the tempo but I think that makes it work too.

Chino always sounds like he just makes up melodies on the spot as he goes a lot of the times. He's so unique in that way cause it actually works in the end.

for KD i was thinking more of its appeal outside of the hardcore fanbase, seems like it'd do pretty well on a wider level

Beware for a while I was actually convinced was a single because of a well-made fan vid and just the seeming obviousness of it being one back when i'd just gotten the album. was genuinely surprised it wasn't & there were only 2 official singles/vids from the album

they apparently hated each other and wanted to breakup during much of the writing process for this, so i guess i could fathom that angle a lil

depends what he means - was it unhealthy for them to make? it didn't end the band so it couldn't have been too horrible. unhealthy to listen to, i don't even really know what that means - unless he's a hardcore christian or something who really takes issue w/ the talk of buttfucking on Pink Cell :D
