Gave this another go and I mantain this will prob end up being in my Top 3 Deftones. Something about the overall tone, drumming and classic Deftones emotional songwriting/lyrics hits all the spots the right way.

There's something with the guitars that is very special. Like if they were layered a million times. Fuck even locked up is good for me now

Kinda underwhelmed by this by Deftones standards, but this is solid and gets the job done. Infinite Source is gorgeous!

Good to see infinite source on the set list. Sadly, based on Vancouver setlist, I doubt they’ll play anything other than my mind is a mountain, milk of the Madonna and infinite source on this tour. That’s one bad thing about when a band has an extensive discography, their setlists tend to become same-y because they rack up so many ā€œhave to playā€ songs. Deep cuts become a thing of the past or very rare.

I remember seeing them on the Saturday night wrist tour cycle at the HOB in Myrtle beach and they played at least half of the album. Those days are gone I’m afraid. Most of these songs will never be heard live.

They might add/swap one more track from this but that’ll be it.

Still going to see them, but I’ve seen them frequently enough to where the past few years, it’s like every show is the same setlist, give or take a few (like tool).

Finally spun this for the first time and gotta say that I'm not disappointed. It sounds great and hella atmospheric. Could become a favourite over time.

music is ok on this one but I can’t say I’m a fan of the production. massively compressed and loud. the drums sound particularly bad.
