Well I subjectively think he's a bad person and I find his style of music to be unappealing. I tried separating art from artist but they're both bullshit shlock rockers so I can just mush my opinions of the person and the music together and save everyone some time.

We currently live in an era where it's seen as weak to admit being wrong and to be pragmatic when new evidence arises. Instead we're rewarded if we doggedly stick to our guns and double down no matter how wrong we may be. It's stopped being "the facts say I'm wrong so I'll accept that" and instead become "yeah but what about if I was right, then what would you do" and "I'll gladly lie to make a point that doesn't need making because it riles people up"
