But thats why i refer to him as a parasite. His influence on things is just constant and overbearing and everything he seems to touch turns into the same slop

More bands should use Jordan Fish. Not nearly enough currently. Every band, that'd be great. His style is very unique and makes every band very unique as well

Homie has prog metal, metalcore, and djent on his pie chart and is acting like he’s above listening to a Jordan Fish record

New singles are indeed mid, and I definitely agree about Fish and his obvious influence. Poppy definitely needs someone less cookie cutter in her camp.

I need a full length in the style of EAT.

I know that djenty guitars and pristine production is all the rage these days but goddamn that is one of my favorite EPs of all time

First single was okay, new one literally does just sound like a b side from this record.

Idk, I like this album quite a bit obv but I do not want more of the same which is what I’m afraid of with this one, given the singles and how quick the turnaround is for it. This album literally dropped barely a year ago, there’s only like 13 months separating records. I would’ve preferred if she cooked for a little while longer instead of dropping Negative Spaces Part II

I mean, tbf, she's almost always had very short waits between albums. This would be the first time though that one of her albums ended up being "more of the same," but given how good this was, I don't really mind as long as the energy's still there

[2] catchier choruses would’ve made both of those singles so much better, idk nothing there wormed its way into my brain, like you said vital, or cost of giving up etc

We all loved the album so much so she's giving us more yippee. Hopefully she never changes her sound.

Band transcends genre, and cultural norms. At their worst, they are a pop band breaking the mold for what is pop in its contemporary form. In an era of pop where songs are only getting shorter, and song structures more simplistic, Sleep Token songs just get longer and more adventurous. The band is barely metal at this point, but I simply don't care. They are genre fluid in its most purist form. No matter what they write, their melodies are always drenched in an undeniable regal divinity.

yeah i loved this album and think its the best jordan fish produced album by a mile, but if you're going to do a 2.0 you really need to push things further, and the 2 singles don't do that. they don't have the big anthemic choruses and the heavy sections are very plain. hopefully the best is yet to come but they havent filled me with much hope

disgusting seeing this "band" and Sleep Token in the same paragraph, this chick used to just say "I'm Poppy" into a camera and post in on youtube for christ's sake, like it was some groundbreaking meta narrative on e-girls only for her to start screaming and not even tastefully
