4 songs in and I am absolutely hating this
too much Dallas singing. This is not a City and Colour album my dude.
production is ass, every song sounds like mud, guitar/bass/drums all lifeless and I don't know whose fault that is
I asked my aof friend if he liked this and he said no it's bad but I decided to trust sputnik and gd it u guys

But that's coming from someone whose first Alexisonfire album was this one lol

ok song 5 absolutely rules maybe I should have waited a little bit lmao
I did really hate the first 4 specifically the 3rd
I am a Alexisonfire day-1-er but I also love Crisis and think Old Crows/Young Cardinals is great so idk I always expect to love them. I think they were the band I had seen the most times (7) but I have now seen Waxahatchee 8 times, I think
okay wtf the beginning of song 6 (Dark Night of the Soul) what the hell are we doing

solid album not as good as their other ones but that's a high ass bar

ok Dallas stays pretty annoying but there is more of an effort to involve his melodic singing with the music in the second half. The last song is really good.
will give my boys a re-listen or two but I'm predicting a 3, which is lower than I've ever gone for them
they had a great run

"But that's coming from someone whose first Alexisonfire album was this one lol"
As someone who grew up on Watch Out and the s/t, I concur that this album slaps
