this could grow on me, but i just don't think it's my thing. I really do like some tracks, but it's just a mixed bag overall. Personally i just wish it was a bit heavier, but at the same time I don't think Marcus is suited to tackle a heavier sound. His screams are pretty decent, but sometimes they just come off as so weak. His clean vocals are clearly his strong point.
At the end of the say this is some mindless fun though, I don't think it deserves to get shit on but so much lol. Might go back and check out Alien.

my only one grip with this album would be the lyrics and melody runs marcus employs. i think the lyrics are always way too on point (song titled: clarity, lyrics are: CLAAARIIITTTTYYYYY over and over). and he always does these weird drawn out, kind of out o key singing lines, he's done it since like, mesmer. minor gripes
still, dig the music on this one.

this (minus clockwork) so easily has my fav vocal lines since he joined but i remember you sayin a sinilar thing about modern erra hooks being "drawn out" so i guess we j like diff types of melodies. lyrics arent the greatest but idgaf about lyrics pretty much always so i am chillin in both regards lol
